Why the NFL Protest Is a Massive and Insulting Failure
by freemindfade ini think everyone has the freedom to protest, they also have freedom of speech, these are two fundamental things that make america amazing.
but thinking rationally about what is going on with the nfl, therefore, i have an unfavorable opinion of the league, and the players, not their right to free speech, but their motive and execution of it.
constitutional freedom to protest ends at the workplace door too.

Baptism statistics from CO
by neat blue dog injust went to the assembly yesterday and during the final talk the circuit overseer said:.
'sure, there are some adults baptised here and there, but do you want to know something wonderful?
the vast majority of those getting baptized are teens and preteens!

I think the day is very close where baptisms at conventions will be whittled down to maybe one every 4 or 5 conventions.
Too much negative info on the internet about the Watchtower corporation for it to ever return to pre-internet figures of growth and baptisms.

Rat,
don't understand why people are so enamored with them both. People standing and putting their hands on their hearts is like the Nazis. I support the players for not standing for it.
Well you see it is like this if you get youths from 4 years old and up and make them pledge allegiance to a flag with their hand over their heart and sing the national anthem and My Country Tis Of Thee every school day it is gonna stick with them even in their adult years. It's called public education/indoctrination so that this response is automatic. Herd mentality is what the governments are seeking for people living under their control it make them easier to manage and control.
Which is reasonable for countries to do to get everyone in the country on the same page and insures plenty of men and women willing to risks their lives in war and advance national indoctrinated goals.
Trump on the other hand now that he's commander and chief of the us armed forces finds it very disturbing that someone would be so sacrilegious as to not follow the proscribe procedure for proper honoring of a nationally selected song during a football game(now that he's the boss).

Facing Existential Dread
by Brokeback Watchtower inthe watchtower corporations main appeal is a everlasting life, this makes it possible for one to avoid existential dread.
this type of anxiety is a part of the human condition, and it explains the appeal of many religions to the human condition as it offers some relief from the anxiety about our life ending.. psychologist show the importance for facing this dread/anxiety.
my feeling is that the more you can accept the fact that your life is very very temporal, the better you will live your life as you accept that you are very temporary and try to live life to the full and not be duped by religions appeal to calm this anxiety.. https://www.calmclinic.com/anxiety/types/existential .

That's great. I kind of feel that way, and don't consciously feel any dread because I know it gotta happen some day, I and don't feel depressed very much.
But I wonder about below the conscious level, but generally I feel a very low conscious levels of anxiety and no dread just hoping that it rather painless and with friends. I like Woody Allen's quote about being afraid of the pain of dying or something. I hope to go rather quick and painless or in some other way nice way.

That's for dam sure! thus bringing down a willingness for the average indoctrinated JW to avoid sacred service to the Watchtower corporation starving it of free peddler/preachers of their propaganda. Thus a slow/moderate/fast/immediate agonizing death of the Watchtower corporation from a myriad of paper cuts.

I feel that everyone has made some excellent posts so perhaps at this point I may be preaching to the choir.
There is no absolute morality "out there" in the universe, to conclude there is, is a projection of our own conscious internal feelings.
Think about this: "what would a universal absolute moral code be for a baby human being snatched away from it's parents and being devoured by a lion?"
Now this to propose that this absolute universal code would be morally outraged is merely of human origin. A lion's morals are different than a human's as ant's moral code is different than a grasshopper's. So how can you possibly say there is an absolute when everything is relative. Just like the theory of relativity there are no absolutes.

Looks like it is really going to happen, I'm sure she will gets lots of help from XJWs and actually JWs who don't believe the WT doctrine but are staying in for relatives and other reasons.
Should be very damming, and the fact that she won an Emmy should insure a big part of the population seeing it. Cart and door to door work will definitely take a nose dive after season 3.
